I wasn't able to stay awake the whole 24 hours, but I caught at least some of every film shown. The sleep deprivation made my cold go OH NOES, but 12 hours of sleep later I felt much better. I also stayed in today with John in order to further facilitate recovery- we're watching the Packers/Giants game now.

I have a bit of a headache... There's more news, but I'm too tired to write out more of a post.

ETA: I am being such a girl right now. LOOKIT THE PRETTY RINGS

The UFO bit is far and away my favorite B-Fest tradition. When you run out of your supply, it's perfectly acceptable to go running through the theatre collecting the plates that have piled up in the aisles or onstage- meanwhile they're continuing to rain down all around you. It is wonderful chaos :D

You should come!!! I will hopefully still be in Chicago this time next year, and there should be future visits between us. Plus B-Fest is great fun.

I was looking at the engagement rings. I do that sometimes ^__^;;;

nothing to be embarrassed about. i do that too. not necessarily because i want one. they just tend to be so darn pretty. and every now and then i find one that's just so stunning i think it would almost be worth putting up with the husband who comes along with it.
